Hi, I would like to stream mini concerts where I am singing covers. At a bare minimum, I'd be using the audio playback of an MP3 thru Windows Media Player and mixing that with my microphone, connected to a professional audio interface (Focusrite Saffire). I would add reverb thru the use of the Audio Input Capture OR Mic/Aux properties, where I would select a reverb as a filter. I would turn on monitoring in OBS in order to do my performances so I can hear the same mix as what the viewers are hearing.
Right now, I am trying to keep the setup simple and hoping this works.. but I currently find that the FX applied has too much latency... in fact whenever I speak in the mic, the VU levels for Mic/Aux take a fraction of a second to move. I'd like to get rid of the latency and hear the mic louder in the mix being monitored. I'm also wondering what's better to use - the Audio Input Capture device OR the Mic/Aux channel?
