Question / Help Can't find IOS device in OBS and USB Waiting for connection

I've seen many with this problem but can't find a solution. It kinda sucks to pay for an app that doesn't work... Anyone found the solution to this? In "Sources" there is no IOS device option and the app on the phone just says "USB Waiting for connection". I have tried to reinstall, I have tried earlier versions but same story. I have a PC windows 10 (64-bit) and an Iphone 8. Any help appreciated!

Are you sure you are in the support forum for the correct piece of software? This is the support for OBS Studio, and OBS Studio is free. In case you have an issue with a paid addon, please contact the support of that addon.

Bc this is a third party app, have you tried installing the plugin for the app into the desktop version of OBS studio? Basically you need (1) the app on the phone (2) the OBS app on desktop computer and (3) the obs.camera plugin for the desktop version of OBS.
