Question / Help Cant even see?? HELP.

Hi , Hopefully this message gets to anybody who can actually help? Okay so i use an el gato not the HD 60 just the el gato for my ps3 .once i click on start streaming on OBS My tv that i was originally seeing my game on goes black ! and i cant see anything and either can the stream ! So i dont know if its just techinical difficulties or what man but you gotta reply and contact me ASAP.

Are you using HDMI by any chance? The PS3 have something called HDCP which doesn't allow HDMI to be used with stuff like the Elgato. You have to use component cables instead, or find a way to block the HDCP signal from the PS3.

It would be helpful for us to help you if you posted the logs where this issue is occurring by uploading them into the post. They have a wonder sticky thread to tell you where to find the logs created by OBS when you have ran it if needed. It's hard for anyone to help you without the logs.
