Question / Help Can't enter BIOS via F2 after update driver

Hi,
When boot, PC does not have "F2 or DEL" message anymore to enter BIOS setting. PLEASE HELP!

I installed OBS and was told to update NVENC (Nvidia Encoder) driver in order for streaming to Youtube to work.
After NVENC driver updated (GeForce GTX 650). Streaming to Youtube works OK. But I need to change
something in the BIOS. Restarting the PC many time, holding down F2, DEL keys but NEVER could enter the BIOS anymore. It used to work fine before the NVENC driver update.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR VALUABLE SOLUTION. MANY THANKS

The driver you installed would be a Windows driver, and should have no effect on the BIOS or getting into the BIOS, so there may be something else causing the issue.

There could be an issue with the keyboard just not being read in time. Ive dont remember ever getting into my BIOS by "holding" they key, but rather, I just mash the F2 / Delete / whatever F key to get into the bios.

Hate to suggest this, but if you feel comfortable enough doing it, unplug the SATA cable from your boot drive (and possibly all of your hard drives) and try booting up the system and getting into the bios. At the very least, it will make it so you wont have to wait for Windows to boot and shut down, and you can just force reset the PC without any worry of boot interruptions or Windows 10 wanting to do a startup recovery/repair.

You can also reboot directly into the BIOS from Windows 8 or 10

Start menu, select Power (

) > hold Shift while selecting Restart. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware settings.

to Dedrick,

I tried that. Didn't see the UEFI Firmware settings page. The PC seems to restart and stuck somewhere or maybe the BIOS window gets displayed and waits for the input but I can't see on the monitor? . After OBS install and update for NVENC driver update, I had to change the type of display of monitor to "GAME" for Windows 10.
