Cant duplicate Webcam

Hey everyone,

I would like to use my webcam in scene 1 and 2.
The idea is as follows:
Scene 1 the webcam has a round filter and is placed in the corner of the image.
In scene 2 the webcam should act in full screen.
That is, if I make changes to the webcam in one of the two scenes, the webcam of the other scene should remain unaffected.

I can copy the webcam with CTRL+C, but I can only paste it with CTRL+V. The duplicate field is grayed out and not usable for me. How can I change this?

I only have a Logitech C920.

You cannot paste as duplicate, because one capture device can be opened by one source only. Duplicate sources would appear black. This is a Windows limitation, no OBS.
To make things work as you want, do paste as reference with CTRL-V. References are all "the same" device, so they always show up regardless how many you have.

However, every filter you add to a reference, will also be present in every other reference, because it's all the same.

So, in case you need to crop one source but not the other, don't use the crop filter but instead press and hold down the ALT key and drag the red source handles to crop. This crop method isn't reflected on the other references.

In case you need to add filters to one reference but not to the other, put the reference into a group and add the filters to the group. Not to the reference directly.
