Question / Help Can't duplicate names, even in different scenes/sources?

So I'm curious as to why I can't duplicate names in different scenes/sources? For instance, in "Scene A" I have a Game Capture on a 3DS Window, I like naming top screen "top screen" and bottom screen "bottom screen, and since I do more than one 3DS capture at a time, I can't make Top Screen / Bottom Screen for different sources and scenes... Is that an option that can be turned off or is that just how OBS Studio is?

Also, to go along with that, I couldn't use Game Capture twice in one Source without it not being able to capture anything... I would do one, get one screen fine, but when I tried to grab another (for the other screen), they both went black and wouldn't stop until I took one off... Any ideas about that? (Currently running one under Game and one under Window Capture)

You probably can't duplicate names because all sources in OBS Studio within a scene collection are global sources.

Don't make multiple new Game Capture sources (or really any source if you're just cropping different areas). When you add the source, use "Add Existing" in the dialog box.
