Question / Help Cant Display Game

Hey,

I tried to stream with that new League of Legends-Client...

If I chose Game-Capture it doesnt display anything. The red rectangle (which shows the border of each Source) just blinks up every 2 seconds for like 0.5s and disappears again... Screen:

http://prnt.sc/f45m9s

Furthermore I uploaded my Logfile... scroll down to "21:15:44.722: warning: 2 frames left in the queue on closing" where that error appears...

If I swap to Window-Capture I get the following 'result':

http://prntscr.com/f45lw8

White rectangle, not working at all.

I really dont want to use Monitor-Capture at all, it has to work in this way? Updated OBS today (18.0.1 to 18.0.2), started as ADMIN, granted ADMIN-Permission for all applications (LoL, OBS)... Any ideas? ):

You cannot game capture the lobby client, only the game itself.

To best capture League of Legends, create two scenes. In the first scene, add a Window Capture of the LoL launcher/lobby (Windows 7 users should make sure Aero is enabled.). In the second scene, add a Game Capture of the game itself (you may need to be in a game to add this for the first time). Then configure the Scene Switcher to automatically swap between them.

Thats what I got. First Scene is my Overlay with my Client in Small, Second Scene is my game with cam. Since the newest update from legacy to alpha-client (LeagueOfLegends) I cant display the Client anymore. If I go for 'Window Capture' the following bug(s) appear:

1. My client is showed with its size but NO info (http://prnt.sc/f45lw8)

2. In Window-Capture my Launcher/Lobby sometimes doesnt even show up. But when it does it freezes at the very beginning and displays the same 'image' all time... http://prntscr.com/f46h2d If i click something in the client it doesnt change anything... :/

/EDIT: Okay... as soon as I swapped AERO OFF in OBS it works... gosh :D

Okay... I got the following problem now:

With enabled aero, I cant use Window-Capture at all. It shows the first appearance of my LoL-Client and freezes that Source. With disabled aero it works but also displays all other windows above it...?

That is an expected side effect of how Windows 7 draws the windows on the desktop. It's not an OBS bug, and not much we can do about it.

But I've seen other streamers display their client while working on top of that without showing this to their stream... Any idea why my Window-Display keeps freezing the very first frame of my window and displays it like a image while aero is on?.. wouldnt like to turn aero off for that...

Hard to say, some sort of conflict on your system I would guess. It definitely works fine with Aero on in most cases. You can see if you have anything similar to programs like RivaTuner, or this list (not a complete list):

Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.
