Hi, I am real new to OBS and I've searched the Forums and the web for fixes for a display capture recording problem but have had no luck.

I am trying to display capture record a live broadcast/livestream on Youtube. I have already programmed hotkeys to Start/Stop Recording.
When I play the livestream then hit the Hotkey for Start Recording, it always rewinds the live broadcast video that is playing to the very beginning of the recorded livestream and then starts the display capture. When I hit the hotkey to Stop Recording, that works.
However, when I right click on the system tray OBS icon and click Start Recording in the menu, OBS records the actual Live Broadcast streaming at the present moment.
I need to be able to use the hotkeys instead of the menu because I want a clean display capture video with no extraneous menus, taskbars, etc. Also I need to record the video in full screen and so definitely need to use the Hotkeys because the taskbar system tray is not accessible when the video is maximized to fullscreen.
