I'm running the sparkylinux 6 gameover edition (debian w/ kernel 5.10 using XFCE4) and just installed the latest OBS (27.0.1).
My capture card is a USB AverMedia Live Gamer Mini that has 2 video channels-- one low latency feed thats very compressed (for speed) and the high quality feed that looks great but is unplayable with the preview window. My intention was to record / stream the higher quality channel while I used passthrough to another display for actually playing.
Unfortunately, when I add the video capture device in OBS, the properties dropdowns dont seem to react. In fact, I seldom can hit the OK or CANCEL buttons successfully. Usually requiring several button presses in order to close the dialog (the window decoration x works every time). Because of this, I cannot add my higher quality video signal to my canvas and I'm not sure what to do.
I tried to locate where the scene data files are any thought maybe I could manually edit them to get the right camera properties but I can't seem to find those either.
Any help would be appreciated! Let me know if there's any additional information I should provide.
edit:
For clarity, these are the dropdowns I'm trying to edit as they are not correct.
