I am pretty new to OBS. I am trying to change the background on my video to having an image behind me on the video, instead of my room. There is a video that says to download Background removal & green screen, but no way to actually download that. Just a bunch of gobbledygook about updates. I thought perhaps the whole system updated to not needing the download. But when I go to filters, there is no prompt to remove background, so I can add the new one. When I try to add the new one as an image, it shows up outside of my video, not as a background. I tried uninstalling & installing OBS. So far, no luck. The person who originally set me up was working in a tech department. Did he perhaps disable something, unbeknownst to me? What he did was very helpful, as I was able to stream & record videos right away. But now I really need better backgrounds.. Can anyone assist me?
