Can't capture window or second screen on Mac Mini M1, Big Sur and OBS 27

I just migrated to a new Mac mini M1 with Big Sur, from a late 2013 iMac. I have two showstopper problems!

1) I can't show/capture any screen, I just get the desktop background.
2) I can't capture any applications at all, regardless of which screen I am using.

If you have any workaround, please let me know.

Noob mistake. I hadn't allowed OBS to record the screen, in security and integrity settings.
