Edit: Turned out my volume level in Windows was too quiet to get picked up in OBS. Solved with Gain filter.
It seems I can't properly capture my desktop audio when using my DAC (Schiit Modi 2). The "Desktop Audio" volume slider in OBS shows that it's picking up audio, but when I try to record or stream, it doesn't actually get anything. I tried to switch to HDMI audio, and then it captured the audio just fine, but I'd like to be able to hear through my headphones while streaming/recording. Any ideas?
