Question / Help Canopus ADVC-700 and OBS

Hi,

I have a Canopus ADVC-700 and have audio and video coming in verified working because we currently use it to capture video/audio in FinalCut Pro. We are trying to switch over to using OBS and live-streaming but so far I have had no luck getting any audio from the ADVC-700. I can get video just fine just not audio. Anyone have any suggestions??

On OSX El Capitan and OBS 21.1.1 by the way.

I think I've seen multiple reports of problems getting audio from firewire devices into OBS.

So it's an issue with firewire devices in general, not just the ADVC device?
