Canon EOS capture issue

I'm attempting to use two Canon cameras (T7i and T6) in the same scene to set up a video podcast. I had been using a single camera (via Canon webcam utility) without issue but I haven't been able to add the second video capture device.

I upgraded to Canon's PRO version and I can see both cameras there but I can't get the second camera to display it capture on the OBS side. And guidance would be helpful, thanks!

Where do you 'see' both cameras? which Operating System level app? or within the Canon app? and can you see both cameras at same time in that same application? make sure you can see both cameras at same time (completely outside of OBS) first
The problem may be the Canon driver... not sure. good luck

I can see both cameras in the Canon app which allows me to set them up in individual scenes or both within the same scene.

Within OBS I can only see the original camera (T7i)

I doubt specific camera makes a difference. I suspect the problem is Canon software not designed to handle 2 cameras simultaneously?
Have you tried using MS Teams, Skype, Zoom or similar to see if both cameras visible at same time?
There is a chance (as was true with crappy USB webcam driver software) to go into registry to make tweaks to make sure cameras showed up as unique devices. I'd advise checking on Canon discussion forums for assistance, if someone doesn't reply with a more specific suggestion

Good luck
