Question / Help Cannot use NVENC for recording

As described in title:
I have two GTX 1080s with SLI on.
Months ago I used exact the same setting for streaming and it worked.
Now I tried to record video, but it failed.

I have tried to update driver and even reinstalled it, did not work.

Thanks, it is one of the reasons I think, so set it back and it worked.

However, since I have a 4k display, I also tried to set the canvas size to 4k. And in this case NVENC could not launch either. When I set it back to 1080p, it worked again.

Attached is the latest log. The error msg with 4k setting is invalid argument.

Not to mention the pci-e lane count issue.

SLI is not worth the expense.
