I've been tearing my hair out with this issue all day as it doesn't make sense at all.
I want to record my voice using a mic, and my electric piano using OBS
I use an audio interface which connects to my laptop via one USB port. I use 2 channels on my interface, one for my mic and one line in which comes from my keyboard.
Now, on my old laptop with windows 10, this worked perfectly. I created an audio input capture and it detected the USB audio interface absolutely fine, and I could change the levels of both the microphone and line in on the audio interface to get the right balance
However, on my new laptop with windows 11, I do exactly the same, but now while the microphone is ok, it won't record the piano. I can see the signal is being picked up in the interface ok, but something in OBS is blocking the signal as nothing is being picked up
Any suggestions?
I've compared the settings on my old laptop and everything looks the same.
Is it an issue with my USB port (I've tried 2 different ones), my laptop, or Windows 11?
