Trying to setup multiple audio tracks and it's driving me crazy. It's simple enough and I had it working at one point.
I just want to separate my desktop audio from mic and have it be two different tracks in Sony Vega.
So, I checked tracks 1 and 2 in Settings - Output - Recording. Easy enough. I have the proper devices selected in Settings - Audio.
The mixer picks up sound from the mic and desktop. Under mixer properties, I have desktop audio selected as track 1 and mic selected as track 2.
When I hit record, only track 1 will record. If I switch them, the other will record. So, it's not recording whatever I pick as track 2 in the mixer properties. If I set them both to track 1 and just one as track 2, then it doesn't separate the audio files in Sony Vega. This is driving me nuts.
