Question / Help Cannot Pick up Browser screen to stream

Good Afternoon. I have just installed Studio and linked it to Twitch (mostly by Auto Format). I have selected Windows Capture and am using Edge browser.

Examples on YouTube show a connection normally with a name i.e. Windows Edge WGT Golf game client, which is actually what I want to stream. However if I click on the Windows Capture icon I get one item VGG Caddy (my notebook for distances) and about 16 other options for Edge, but all exactly the same. This is the case no matter how many Windows I have open and they are all identical in that they do not depict what is in that Window.

I just pick up a black screen so must have some link problem. Any ideas?

You can't window capture edge at all.

Thanks Harold that explains it, so does that mean I cannot stream from Edge at all?

If so do you know about Maxthon?

Firefox and chrome work with window capture. Chrome requires hardware acceleration turned off.

If you must use edge, you must also use display capture instead of window capture.

Maxthon appears to hesitate and slide. I tried to use display capture with Edge, but it was like looking down a tunnel of open windows and could not close them. Is there another setting that needs altering? The window incidentally was the OBS screen.

When OBS says display capture, it means EVERYTHING on the display, including the OBS window.
When OBS isn't in front, things will capture properly.
