Cannot Modify or Clear Scene Transition Override

macOS Monterey 12.6.3 (21G419)

Problem:
In the Scene Transitions pane, transition is set to Fade (500 ms)

1. Right click on a scene in Scenes pane.
2. Select Transition Override and select anything other than Fade.
3. Right click again on the same Scene as step 1 and pick Transition Override.
4. Confirm the override is set as per step 2.
5. In the Scenes pane click on a Scene different from that picked in step 1
6. Click back on the scene picked in step 1.
7. Note that the Transition Override picked in step 2 was not used, the default transition from the Scenes pane was used (Fade in this case)
8. Right click on the Scene picked in step 1, select Transition Override and note that it is now set to "None". The transition picked in step 2 did not stick.

Also, somehow I did manage to get a Transition override to stick on one scene, but, It cannot now be cleared or altered. It always sticks to the selection made.

Doesn't matter if, when the Scene is selected in the Scenes pane, if a source in that scene is selected or not.

I've checked and conformed that no other transitions or filters are applied to any scene in the source or to the scenes being switched between in steps 5 and 6 above.
