Question / Help Cannot Install OBA 22.0.2 (Runtime components required)

Hello people,

So I'm trying to install OBA 22.0.2 (On Windows 7 Ultimate + Service Pack 1) and on the first time clicking next I'm given the following message:

"Your system is missing components that OBS studio requires. Would you like to download them?"

I click yes and I'm taken to this page (https://obsproject.com/visual-studio-2017-runtimes-64-bit). I already downloaded the runtime but when I try install OBS again it says I get the message and I can't install OBS at all.

Any tips?

Did you INSTALL the runtimes as well as download them?

Yes. As a matter of fact I still had it installed and I chose to "repair" the installation instead.

Then you need to make sure your windows updates are fully up to date.

Any specific ones? Maybe the .NET Framework ones?

All the ones that would come up when you do a normal check for updates without going manually into the optional updates.
