Question / Help Cannot Initialize desktop audio sound

I cannot get OBS to record - it tells me that it cannot initialize desktop audio sound. I've disabled all audio output except for my speakers, and set my speakers as the default sound source in OBS. I'm running Windows 10.

It just ran an update the other day ... I didn't realize I was that far out of date. I feel kinda dumb, but thank you for pointing me to the new version.
