Hi All,
I use Linux Mint 20. I'm pretty new to Linux & OBS of course. I basically use OBS studio v25.0.8 for Recording video for my YT channel (no streaming as yet).
My problem is every time I open OBS for recording purpose I find every setting jumbled up. The settings that worked last time doesn't work this time (strangely). My scene settings are changed (though for previous video it worked). Suddenly, my recording starts freezing after say 30s (but the same settings worked last time). So, again I need to scan for the optimal settings (using wizard) and then use the general tweaks I apply. Normally need to change the Recording > Encoder setting (than what worked last time).
Am I doing something wrong? I generally have multiple tabs (15-20) opened while working. Does that effect? I mean memory/CPU?
I have attached my hardware settings (txt file), OBS settings (snapshots) for your reference.
Request the gurus/experts to guide me. Eagerly awaiting your response.
