Question / Help Can you use two graphic cards, one for game and 2nd recording?

Can you use two graphic cards in OBS Studio? One for game and the second one for recording and encoding while playing a game? How can I dedicate one for recording and encoding in OBS Studio?

If you have an AMD card, you can simply do this using the Video Adapter dropdown in the encoder settings. For QuickSync and NVENC, you might need to force OBS to use a specific GPU in your driver panel.

Supposedly yes, however i heard people say that it doesnt work very well. If you are using NVENC you can change what card youre using under where it says GPU. GPU 0 is your first card GPU 1 is your second GPU. I'm not sure about AMD.

I only have 1 GPU so I don't know how well this works

Also please post your computer specs
