Question / Help Can you use Elgato card to stream from the Pc?

So I got an Elgato here recently and have been using it to stream from my ps3. I've come across some people saying you can use the Elgato card to stream pc games as well. Is this possible? It seems to be split between ppl saying the Elgato Card handles most of the work load so your stream is better and others say it doesnt work.
