Question / Help Can recipients of stream talk back?

Hello
I have just downloaded OBS and am impressed by its capabilities. I note that participants in a stream can write messages. But... can they actually speak? I am in Thailand and we have to run our classes through e-learning because of the COVID virus. It would be nice to be able to broadcast to a group of students and then listen to what they have to say (in other words have 2-way communication).

You can setup two-way communication with your students via a voice chat program like Discord or Skype. These programs aren't related to OBS but will work well with it, ie. Viewers of the stream will hear your conversation with your students and be able to see what you're showing on screen.

No. OBS is not a conferencing program. You would need other software for this, like Skype, Discord, Google Hangouts, or Mumble.
