can osb record 2 video tracks

hi , I'm trying to set up a YouTube video recording for my son. have looked at a lot of videos.
hove got a video card with minimal latency. got my iPhone as a webcam.
but I'm struggling with osb only recording 1 video channel. is this how it is or should be using something else .
i can edit it together from different sources but it just takes so long a time to match it all together.
can osb use separate video or should i be looking else wear.

By default, OBS is not configured to be able to record separate video tracks. Whatever is in the preview will be what is recorded in the file.

However, there is a plugin called Source Record that will allow you to do just that -- record individual sources alongside the main OBS recording. There are some caveats with using it, but for the most part it does a good enough job to definitely look into using.

Hi ,
I'm also trying to set up the same thing for my son.
you might be thinking you need to set up 2 video recordings in obs but for YouTube you might only need the one.
obs can take in 2 different video feeds and put them both into the same recording.
that way you only have 1 video recording but can record your webcam and game capture card at the same time.
as I've said I'm a novice my self.
just learned how to record 2 different audio channels in obs. lol
which you will probably need also.

should of mentioned that for 2 different inputs you add sources by pressing the + sighn at bottom.
configure your capture card as 1 input
configure you wecam as second input.
