Bug Report Can not Rename Scenes After they are created obs 24.0.6 mojave 10.14.6 Mac

I can't seem to rename Scenes once I have created them... Click on Rename allows me to type in a new name and when I press Enter it reverts back to its original name.

In other words Renaming Scenes does not work..

I have: Install it on a second imac running the latest mojave 10.14.6
obs 24.0.6

Formatted imac clean install of catalina with 24.0.6. and Rename Scenes does not work.. is anyone else having this problem?

I've encountered this in Catalina.

I've found that changing the name and then tabbing out works. Enter/Return does not.

This doesn't seem to work if it is the last scene in the panel.

The UI is very difficult to use successfully in Catalina. Drop downs are almost impossible to use (like in Advanced Audio.)

Hmm, I found something slightly different. Yes hit tab to apply but it seems to apply to the wrong scene. I end up with two with the new name. The one I changed and the one after it. If you kill OBS and restart it, the names now appear correct but it's renamed the one after the one I changed. One work around that works for me is to move the scene I want to rename down to the end, rename it and move back up where it works.

This sort of topic and from a newbie with OBS but... I looked on matis, what I think is the bug tracking system for obs, for a bug on this and didn't find one, so I thought I enter one but I don't see anyway to enter a bug or add a comment to an existing bug. Does labeling a forum topic as bug as this one is get a bug created else where?

OBS: 24.0.6
Mac Catalina: 10.15.4

I've been having the same exact issue as described by Paul. I'm using macOS 10.15.6 and OBS 25.0.8.

Looking around the forum, seems others are having this issue as well.

From what I see, this has been happening since around August 2019 back in version 23. (See this post: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/cant-rename-scenes-objects-mac-10-14-5-obs-23-2-1.109105/)

schroef provided a simple workaround on that post: press Cmd + Enter when renaming the scene. It worked for me!
