Question / Help Can not record with OBS Studio.

Computer specs: http://valid.x86.fr/me6ndv
No matter what I do I get "Encoding Overload" even using the same setting as I do in obs classic and the only thing that fixes the issue seems to be downscaling but that shouldnt be needed since everything works fine on classic... can anyone help maybe someone from the dev team <3. Hope this gets resolved I would really love to take advantage of the features built into studio.

Do you have a more complete log from a recording session? That one is missing profiler data from the recording session.

I'm not sure why but sometimes the log is not complete - have a look at the uploaded one below I believe that you need to make sure it contains the phrase " Profiler Time Between Calls" and of course a recording which you can check is included by looking for Recording Stop.

letting it run for 5 minutes so i can see if that part pops up.

Are you trying to save your recordings to a USB drive?

Yes indeed I am. I'm trying to find the 5 or so new drives that I put in a box when I moved. But would that be the issue when it seems to work fine on OBS Classic?

If they're usb 2.0 drives or thumbdrives that would definitely be an indication of the source of the problem.
Try saving to an internal.

I'll have a go even though my hard drive is slower then a snail :). It's a USB 3.0 stick but my USB ports are only USB 2 so that might be part of the issue.

Found my hard drives and those are 7200rpm drives so the skipped frames will go down even more :D so much excited. Those drives will be only for files and recordings.
