Hi all,
Last night I wanted to stream my meditation lesson, but even before the event started Youtube stopt receiving the signal from OBS and stopped the livestream directly after this. So eventually all 200+ people waiting for something to happen, saw nothing and were disapointed. And so was I.
It took me many time and money to make a good setup (I use two ZV-1 camera's, external mike, etc.).
After all the research and testing I've got this working at home but... I never thought about it that the internet connection on the location is not stable.
So I need to figure out a solution and I think I need a backup stream. I am wondering if I can use my iPhone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect this somehow as a backup stream. So it should primarily using the WIFI, but when this is not good it enough it should use the Mobile Hotspot as a backup stream.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use Mobile Hotspot for backup stream and if so, how to do this? If you have other, maybe better suggestions this is also welcome (but please note for the streaming I'm small on budget, like it should not cost more than 25 euro per stream for data, but I'm willing to invest in hardware if needed).
One more subquestion: Is there a way to prevent Youtube to automatically stop the livestream after losing connection? So, I would it to be black or something until the signal comes back. So people can wait for the connection coming back and don't miss the whole event.
Thanks!
Gerjan
