Can i streaming 4k without a 4k monitor ?

Hi sirs, my apologies for this simple question.
I really need a 4k monitor just for streaming (NOT recording) on OBS by the capture card (i.e.: elgato 4k60s+) ?

Context:
I have a heavy/strong notebook running my OBS (windows land) and i receive a 4k signal game from my external elgato 4k60s+.
So, i was thinking if i really need a new 4k monitor only for streaming my game from OBS to youtube. My final target is Youtube only.

The doubts:
For streaming only (without recording or render local game monitoring), i need a 4k monitor too?
..Or just capturing the 4k game (from my elgato 4k60s+) on OBS without a 4k-monitor is all i need for streaming in 4k/2k resolution ?

No you shouldn't need it, you can just go to settings > video > double-click the base canvas resolution option to highlight the text, and type in the custom resolution.
