Question / Help Can I Start and Stop OBS recording with a Foot Switch?

There's a keyboard shortcut for sure, but I'm thinking there might be a simple way to trigger recording handsfree with a USB foot switch. Or maybe even a Siri command? I already have a Bluetooth foot switch, but could easily get one for USB. Wondering how to hook this all up within the OBS software. Thanks for any advice!

You'd need a way for the footswitch to generate a keystroke.

You could use ControllerMate (http://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/) to capture input and covert it to a keystroke.
