OK So I'm using the newest version of OBS Studio, just installed it yesterday. My question is, is there some way I can connect my laptop to my desktop and run OBS on my laptop to record what I'm doing on my desktop? If you need to ask questions to clarify what I mean, ask away. I've just noticed that when I run OBS Studio trying to record BF4, I find in the corner that OBS is using near 50% of my CPU (High of 49%). This is causing problems when recording because it slows down my game causing great lag which then causes the video quality to come out very very poorly. I have an MSI GS60 Ghost Laptop and a custom built PC of which I don't have the specs on hand for. What I do know about it is that I have an MSI Radeon R9 270x Twin Frozr Graphics card and the rest of my specs don't bottleneck the system when trying to run games at High Graphics. If you need my specs like my CPU or mobo or RAM or whatever, I can get it to you eventually. Main question however:
Can I run OBS on my Laptop to Record Gameplay on my Desktop without using a capture card?
