Can I record my mic L and Desktop audio R but the stream sends out mono?

Hey all!

My question is: Can I record my mic in the left ear(channel) and Desktop audio in the right ear(channel) so I have them separated on the recorded stereo rack but the stream audience hears it in mono in both their ears?
