Can I record audio without "passing" it through to my speakers/headphones ?

Hey, I'm new to OBS and was wondering if I could record audio without "passing" it through to my speakers.
Any help is appreciated.

Yes. Any source that shows up in the Mixer will have its audio captured directly to the stream/recording by default. There are advanced options for choosing whether to monitor the source as well (passing it through to your speakers), or even remove its audio from the stream/recording, but by default... if it shows up, it's recorded.
