Vanilla minecraft or modded? Any shaders? What framerate? Fancy graphics on or off?
It's really not possible to answer a question like that just from computer specs.
Try running the Auto-Configuration Wizard from the Tools menu.
It'll be faster for you to try yourself and find out, and decide what compromises you need to make, if any, than it would be for anyone to guess at an answer only to find out it's wrong.
