Can I offload the encoding to my secondary GPU?

So I've was wondering if it's possible to run two graphics card, where you'd play the game using one and then OBS would record using the other one, so that the encoder would be offloaded to that GPU, I'm not sure if that works hence why I decided to ask here.

using the gpu as a capture device?i like the idea but think it might be very complicated.just remember how much bullshit it was with running two gpus for gaming-VERY janky!but i know nothing.if its possible,im sure many of us would smile!it would make things cheaper than a dedicated cap.dev.
i will keep an eye on this thread, too.
ps-maybe u will have better luck asking some dedicated gpu modding site?overclockers might know something.or maybe a software deving forum?it seems like a very specialized solution,if theres any.good luck!

I've been using the Intel UHD 770 on my 12900k along with a 3090 with great success. Offloading 1080p & 720p streams to the 770 while the 3090 is encoding the recording.

I've already tested the 770 encoding (2) 2160p 30 FPS streams concurrently with absoutely no issues so I'm fairly certain I'll be able to add a 2160p stream to the mix as well.
