New to streaming! LOVE OBS! Running into a bit of a snag with audio however.
I like to livestream with some background music playing, at least on days I'm streaming Tilt Brush since the game has no audio. I do my livestreams to FB live just since I'm able to reach and engage with a start up audience there more easily. What I want to do though is livestream to FB then edit my videos for YouTube later to speed through some of my art work and add commentary etc. One issue is that because it records my media player source, it can sound a little weird because of jump cuts or speed ups in my edits for Youtube. Another issue I'm running into is that YouTube and FB have different free audio libraries. So if I try to use audio from YouTube's library when I livestream on FB I end up with parts of my FB Livestream muted. I'm worried too that using FB's audio library in my YouTube Videos could end up causing them to get removed or demonetized when I put them on YouTube.
Is there maybe a way to play my FB audio JUST for my livestream audience, but record ONLY the gameplay and my external mic? That way when I go to edit the video for YouTube later I can just add music on top of the edit, and then I'm not running into any issues with music copyright blocks or mutes etc. Please let me know! Would love your help!
