Can an individual OBS user/jobseeker create screen recording software tutorials to show their software skills?

Where could I find the following information on the allowable(obeying copyright restrictions) procedures of creating screen recordings in OBS as an individual to add to my work skills portfolio for job hunting purposes whether it be showing my proficiency in Opensource apps or Closed licensed apps be it in Google or Windows 10 & still obeying opensource or closed apps fair use policies?

OBS is open-source. You can create tutorials on how to use it without any worry, so long as they aren't suggested as being official/associated directly with/created by the OBS Project.

OBS is primarily a compositing and livestreaming tool though, with local recording capability. There is no inbuilt editing functionality. To create a tutorial, you'll either need to do a one-shot-take, or record footage and then use editing software to create your final video.
