i did indeed wanted to sound like an entitled prick on purpose, i love OBS on the other hands, it s just funny to see these clever features lacking on an otherwise smart software.

Someone has to code those features, and considering there is only 1 dev, time is limited and higher priority things come first. And apparently noone else has wanted to create per scene volume yet.

Though i believe its possible to set volume through obs' scripting.

To over come my issue which is: Elgato game video and the game audio is tied to a "single" source, so you cant just bring captured video to the scene alone. As a result, you cant bring just video to a scene and have both on another scene.

if you mute the audio, then it is globally muted so , it will appear as muted when transitioned to another scene.

I tried to use "use custom audio device" option that comes up in videocapture device's settings but that does not work correctly.

Even configuring like that, the sound still comes out of the video capture device's audio source, I dont know if it s an OBS bug or elgato's...

Anyways, my current solution is to select the option to output "audio" to "desktop audio" through hd60pro's settings and remove "desktop audio from the scenes where i want just game video.
