can’t open OBS. It has bern a few months since I’ve opened it.When I open it now , tje page opens up for a millisecond or two and then I get OBS quit

It has been a few months since I opened OBS.
When I open now the OBS screen flashes on for a couple of milliseconds, and then I get the message: OBS quit unexpectedly.

Also, when I ask to reopen, it tells me :

failed to find locale/en-US.ini

What version MacOS? Web sources crash OBS on Big Sur.
re your error message, have you tried a reinstall?

Thank you, it was the fact that I had the updated Catalina system on my mac. I reinstalled obs following a you tube video, and finally got OBS to work.
