Can’t automatically remove my camera background when switching scenes.

Hi guys, how are you?

Well, I finally decided to create an account on the forum and ask you, because I’ve been struggling for months with something I’ve never been able to solve in all my years of streaming.

Basically, my problem is the following:

I like to stream using two scenes:

  1. A full screen scene where the main video source is my Logitech C930e showing my entire setup background.
  2. A scene where I’m playing or showing the browser, with a camera source that removes the background and only leaves my silhouette.
For the second one, I’ve always used NVIDIA Broadcast.

The main issue I have is that when I switch from the Full Screen scene to the Game scene, I can’t get it to automatically remove the background and switch from my Logitech camera to NVIDIA Broadcast, disabling the previous source and enabling the new one.

It’s really annoying. All the years I’ve been streaming, before switching scenes I had to go into the Logitech source, disable it, switch to the game scene, disable NVIDIA Broadcast and then enable it again so it would pick up the source correctly.

For months now I’ve been trying to automate this background remover setup, and I just can’t manage to do it.
I tried AutoHotkeys, scripts, mappings in the NVIDIA app, even some OBS plugins like Background Remover (which only used my CPU and not the CUDA cores on my GPU), and Advanced Scene Switcher (mapping hotkeys to enable and disable sources). Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I couldn’t get it to work either.

So now, completely defeated, I’m coming to ask for your help to see if you can give me a solution to automate this source switching so the background gets removed automatically when changing scenes.

Hopefully someone here can help me!

Best regards,
