Question / Help Camlink with OBS

As previous thread I've started looking into live streams. But someone told me that Camlink won't get me streaming online with OBS or my Canon xa11 even though last night I did manage to get the camera working on OBS via the media source section.
Can anyone help me with this please.

So long as your camera video is being captured through the correct source and you are able to view it in OBS, you should be good to go. Are you seeing any distortions or sluggish performance on the video? (From camera)
