Camera layer not visible when in MRC mode

Trying to do MRC with Quest2. I have successfully calibrated the Oculus MRC to my camera, all that went great. Output the MRC json file for OBS to read, that works fine too. When I go into OBS without loading the json file that sets up the MRC layers, I see the camera's output just fine, a la OBS_VCD_no-json-file.jpg (that black area is the green screen roughly draped over the stands). Then, when I load the json MRC file, it seems to correctly set up the camera, foreground and background layers and my apk loads fine and displays its virtual camera... OBS_apk.jpg. No matter what switches I set, or where I move the Video Capture Device layer, It's always not used by the compositor.
