I have a PTZ security camera that outputs RTSP video feed, and there is a 2 second lag between the camera and OBS. If I view the same resolution feed in a browser, or through the security camera software (which uses P2P/RTSP), the video feed has only about half a second delay. It is actually faster for OBS to screen capture the web-browser interface or security camera software, giving only about half a second lag, although this uses a lot more CPU.
This is all IP connected (wires) through a single hub to the computer, and tried on two completely different networks (office and home). I'm only running a single video feed, and no streaming output.
Any thoughts on what I can do differently to bring the feed straight into OBS without the extra delay?
