I have multiple scenes where the same camera (usually with different sizing and cropping) used to be added as a source. The problem was that switching scenes would freeze the camera until I de- and re-activate it in OBS. Camera is a Logitech C270.
I came across StreamFX and have been using its source mirror feature to get around the issue.
However I would like to solve this problem without extra plugins if possible (as the lack of a full release version of StreamFX is currently preventing me from going to OBS 28). Duplicating the camera source as a reference is not an option because they all share the same name and on some scenes I have multiple camera sources at different positions so they need a distinct name. Having the camera in a separate scene and embedding that scene also does not work because cropping the embedded scene source also affects the actual scene. Furthermore it still has the problem of not allowing for distinct names.
