Hey All,
Anyone had issues with Cam freezing? i would literally pay for a solution but still want to do it myself. I just recently made the switch from OBS Classic to Studio and I've been fully put to the test, logged 30+ hours, given up and posted here. My final issue! Integrated Cam & Logitech C920 in OBS Studio. I've set OBS64Bit.exe to run from Integrated vs. NVIDIA so i can display capture. The goal is a poker stream, it shouldn't be this difficult as the requirements are next to nothing? In Classic i was switching between 8 scenes while switching between integrated cam and my C920 for different views. Now i can't preview 1 single stream on OBS without my cam freezing.
Right now just trying to run the C920 on its own in a single scene with settings;
Custom
640x480
Match Output FPS (auto selected) : 30
Video Format : MJPEG
YUV Color space: 709
YUV color range: partial
Buffering: auto-detect:
Audio Output Mode: Capture audio only
Webcam freezes, i can disconnect USB, re-seat USB; De-activate and active within OBS and it will appear again. But then shortly after it will freeze and re-peat with continuous problem cycling over and over.
I've literally updated, uninstalled, re-installed every driver possible on my laptop. Also de-selected "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in every USB, wherever possible. Triple checked i discovered them all.
Uninstalled / re-installed Logitech Webcam Software.
I've just updated my HDD for a Crucial MX500 SDD and swapped out my Optical Disk Drive with caddy for my original WD HDD.
Alienware M14x
Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
Installed memory (RAM) : 16.0 GB (15.47 usable)
System Type: 64-bit OS, x-64-based processor
Display Adapter: INtel(R) HD Graphics 4600
Please send help and booze!!!
