Question / Help Cam not working in OBS Studio, works in old OBS

Hi there, I'd like to ask for help with OBS Studio.
As I say in the Thread name, my cam doesn't work in OBS Studio (or rather it works maybe once per 10-20 tries) and it's either not there at all or the picture from cam is black. The funny thing about this is that it works no problem in normal OBS (version .0659b 64bit) and I'm getting quite desperate about what to do. At first I've noticed that it sometimes works when I launch Studio shortly after starting up pc, but that doesn't work anymore either. As far as I know it started happening randomly, without me downloading something or plugging in anything new.

Having this exact same problem. Just switched over from Classic. Using several different USB web cams or cameras. Sometimes if I switch to Device Default and reboot i can get it to show up. Can then switch of Custom Config.

I'm using:

OBS 19.0.3 (64bit, windows)

Works fine with Classic.

@Sariondil That log shows multiple instances of OBS running at the start of the session. Close ALL instances of OBS, open ONE new one, try to get the camera working, then restart OBS again and upload the last log again.

Yeah, it shows multiple instances because I was doing it while I was using the classic. Nevermind, here's the clean one.

Is the camera in use in another application when you try to use it in studio?

I'm having this same problem. I also noticed that when I first start there is a corner indicator in the upper left corner of my scene.

Same, yeh. Or at least from the beginning, now it's the same size as I set it to, just black
