Question / Help C920 freeezes on custom settings

As most of us know, the C920 works best at 720p. Well when I try to set from default to custom resolution, my webcam preview freezes (when I reselect default, I get cam updates again.)
This is on Win 7 Pro, OBS Studio 17.0.2 64-bit, and its plugged into a USB 2.0 slot.

And you can clearly see the webcam is activated on both screens. Even the blue recording status light is active on the camera. OBS just fails to see the video stream if its set to anything other then default.

What am I doing wrong?

Your C920 is popping up different compared to mine. Yours says "HD Pro Webcam C920" while mine says "Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920"

I would make sure you have the Logitech Drivers installed for the webcam. That might be your issue. Plus, I don't even have the H264 video format for my webcam and it's the same webcam.

Apparently, LWS is listed as unsupported on the official website but isn't listed as REQUIRED to run properly since it lists LGS instead as the recommended install.
But yes, I'm in business now, ty for pointing me there.
