Question / Help Buzzing from audio cables?

Ok. I've got a weird one.

1st up I'm using a roxio game cap hd and when I try to "output desktop audio" it stops the feed from both the audio and video.

not a big issue because the audio would be delayed anyway.

the weird part.

I'm using Turtle Beach ear force x12s and they come with an inline rca jacks

I use those ANYWHERE I get horrible buzzing on my stream and my videos, but only with OBS.
I'm using the component cable for the ps3 into the roxio. no mater what side i put them on i get the buzz.

When i record video with other software I dont get any buzz.

At one point i plugged these cables into the line out of my tv, not even hooked to the roxio, and my viewers said they could hear the buzzing. i do NOT hear the buzzing in my headset.

A side note. Back when I was using an EZCAP I never had this issue and I think I might have even pulled off one stream with this same set up and no issues.


I found if I unplug my mic the noise goes away even with the cables plugged in. That's as far as I know how to fix it.

If someone could explain my first problem that would be killer. I think the second one is being caused by a feed back loop with the mic output and head phone input being on the same set.
