Hey all. I'm pretty new to using OBS (v30.0.2), on Mac, and I seem to constantly be butting up against a range of bugs.
There's a bunch of problems with basic handling of elements within a scene. They move or resize spontaneously when I load the software, even when I've made no changes to the windows being captured. Elements often become unselectable for moving, resizing or editing, even when clicking on their name in the list. A range of things along these lines.
Beyond that, the software frequently causes my system to lag, in particular mouse movement because jumpy, which is especially problematic since what I'm recording requires precise mouse movement. Typically this gets worse with each load until I eventually have to restart the computer, which usually brings it back to normal for a while.
The only really reliable thing is that the recordings always come out as I'd expect, no video lagging or de-syncing.
There's other things as well that I can't remember right now. I'm just wondering if it's simply the case that the Mac version is not as polished as the PC version? (I haven't used the PC version so I'm unaware.) I can understand that lag might be a result of my own hardware, but the frequent interface glitches seem to be independent of that.
Am I missing something?
